Sonic Past Music, a new label dedicated to bringing fans previously unreleased albums from their favorite classic artists, has just uncovered Rick Springfield: The Early Sound City Sessions. Recorded in 1977 and 1978, the album contains the original versions of the songs that were later re-recorded with studio musicians for the Beautiful Feelings album. Rick Springfield: The Early Sound City Sessions also features the bonus track, “Still Got the Magic,” which has never been released commercially until now.
